Over the weekend, the minds behind popular underground DVD fight series, Felony Fights, threw their very first MMA event, dubbed "Cage Vs. Cons" -- which also served as a music festival and tattoo expo.
Over 20-plus hip-hop acts hit the stage at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on Saturday (May 21), including Killah Priest, Shabazz the Disciple, Ras Kass, the Dogg Pound, E-40, and Too Short.
After the musical acts wrapped, the stage was set for the main attraction -- 10 MMA matches, pitting law enforcement and ex-military against ex-cons who have used MMA as a vessel to turn their lives around. During the main event "Officer" Ismael Gonzalez KO'd "Notorious" Rick Slaton with a straight right to the face in the first round.
